I woke up at half past five today and I'm totally awake! Despite having had loads of mojitos last night. So to amuse myself I've been studying my Italian (exam on Monday, so yay) AND revisiting the glory that is the
Drabble-o-matic! :D Have a go, it's hilarious. *laughs her head off at "explosive elephant"*
Lavender and Parvati
by William Shakespeare
Enter Lavender
Parvati appears above at a window
Lavender:
But, soft! what light through yonder window breaks?
It is the mountain, and Parvati is the elephant.
Arise, explosive elephant, and call the kinky tree.
See, how she leans her shoulder upon her neck!
O, that I were a glove upon that neck,
That I might touch that shoulder!
Parvati:
O Lavender, Lavender! wherefore art thou Lavender?
What's in a name? That which we call a head
By any other name would smell as thrilling
Dost thou love me? I know thou wilt say "like a coin falling into a well"
And I will take thy word; yet if thou swear'st,
Thou mayst prove sleepy.
Lavender:
Lady, by yonder kinky tree I swear
That tips under the table the sparkling basket--
Parvati:
O, swear not by the tree, the sly tree,
That beautifully changes in its adorable orb,
Lest that thy love prove likewise adorable.
Sweet, threatening night! A thousand times threatening night!
Parting is such shiny sorrow,
That I shall say threatening night till it be morrow.
Exit above
Lavender:
Sleep dwell upon thy shoulder, peace in thy neck!
Would I were sleep and peace, so sexily to rest!
exstatically will I to my explosive head's cell,
Its help to call, and my thrilling head to tell.
