internship, spoke on-air in multiple segments, got OFF probation, moved in with steph, adopted a dog,
i don't know. met all my ferndogs, hilarity ensued. i graduated from specs howard but considering this is what my fellow grads are doing to pay the billz, we can forget that ever happened:
although i did help interview drew barrymore, that was pretty cool. this week i went out for sushi and had sake and eel for the first time.

working for greater media detroit, letting go of my boyfriend. going back to school!

being generally depressed from june-late fall and as a result, not getting anything done and being consistently broke and lazy.

nah, just the flu once or twice.

didn't really buy much.

noelle for making it work in chicago, john for heading out west, steph for putting up with me and being the best friend anyone could ask for, my grandparents for essentially keeping me alive, my siblings.

food, cigs, gas, booze, drug tests.
What did you get really, really, really excited about?
meeting new people. moving in with steph! feeling like myself again. nancy moving back from lansing! lauren getting engaged :)

i turned 22 this year, and it was a blast. a bunch of new and old friends came out to the bar, and nancy and i had one of the most hilarious days of my entire life, i don't think i've laughed that hard in years.

What political issue stirred you the most?
i really paid attention to the shit that's been going down in detroit and in the auto industry. this year i was a major part of an awareness campaign for the morning show i worked on, we took it all the way to washington!
Who did you miss?
i miss tony a lot, probably more than anyone else who left. john of course, and kenny, and i miss all the karenina kids i used to see on a regular basis. and some of my specs buddies. and everyone at mongo.
Who was the best new person you met?
i met so many new people this year, and everyone has been pretty cool for the most part.
Was 2009 a good year for you?
there were extreme highs and extreme lows. i remember thinking in the beginning of the year, "i'm gonna have so much to look back on at the end of this year.", but that's not really the case. in all honesty, the past week has been more mind-altering than the entire year put together.
What was your favorite moment of the year?
finding out the warrant was a filing error? getting good grades! the NCAA game night. driving to the keys. st. patrick's day. visiting magz in chicago.
it was the first time i could legally go out!
What was your least favorite moment of the year?
the 2 weeks leading up to and after the breakup. i literally felt/probably was insane. that, and all the probation shit. oh and each and every morning of the 3 months where i got up at 3:30 to get to work on time.
