A look into the inner workings of my mind...
So I got a strep-like viral infection yesterday, and got amoxicillin and some throat numbing gargle for it, because there's really not much else the doctor could do. The reason I mention this is that the Amox are Red and Yellow capsules. Much like the capsules from Dr. Mario. This wouldn't be a problem, except that I am a huge nerd, and every time I open the bottle, I start singing the song from Dr. Mario, and can't stop for several hours. My kids are screwed.
Work is going great. I'm training to be a roaming camera man, which means that I would be going with anchors 'on-site' and recording footage for packages. I'd then take all that raw footage and cut it into something we could air on the news. Up until now, I've only been taking other people's footage and editing it, so this'll be a step towards my hostile takeover of the entire news industry. If I get a job as a Photog, it'll mean full-time, a major pay increase, and I wouldn't have to wake up at 2:45 to make it to work by 3:30 in the morning. That'd be nice. All the other photogs are really good people, and I've made friends within the past week of training with them, so now I have people to play Smash Bros and WoW with, which are my main vices currently.
I'm going to see The Lemonheads and Radiohead for my birthday for relatively cheap which is alway exciting. I haven't seen either of them before, and the Lemonheads are playing in a little bar in Chicago the weekend after my birthday, so it should be a good time for all involved.
