Dear Evryone,
As you have heard and maybe have seen from Nikki Martell's comments, it's true. Harvey Alumisin is not enjoying New York anymore and all he wants to do right now is to take the earliest flight to Manila and come back. I have realized that I have been taking things for granted and that there are some things that you will surely miss in Manila. And the number one on my list is the maids. Fuck! Mga pareh and I say this with passion, my hands are now wrecked from washing the fucking dishes everytime my family eats in the apartment. I have to wash every fucking dish, utensils and glass plus don't forget the pans that I used to cook the food.(Please don't feel nakinankawawa ako ng pamilya ko but I ought to do this than I see my mom doing it) Next, driver, I hate taking the subs in New York but I don't have any choice because I'd rather take a two dollar trip downtown by using the ultra sketch Subway than paying 15 dollars from a cab driver who smells. I mean face it. I guess this is so pretentious and superficial of me but what the fuck., This is the first time Ill say it and I don't give the fuck to people who will not understand. Ingit lang kayo because we people from Manila was born to be like this. Anyways, yeah and it's damn hott in New York right now and everytime I fucking pass the doorman he says:
DM: Why are you so hot? Isn't it hotter in Manila?
Harvey: I know but we have AC everywhere!
DM: Even in the streets?... he laughs
Harvey: (I laugh) No.... But we have a car
DM: Do you drive?
Harvey: I don't
DM: Walk?
Harvey: I don't
DM: You don't drive, You don't walko. So what do you do?
Harvey: Hahahah.... (IN my mind... Tang ina mo, may driver ako... joke joke)
It's different here and now I know why some people can't get to adjust and it takes for them to do so. I have to face my independence but not this soon I guess. All I wanted last month was to leave Manila and now that I've been here for a month now, I want to go back and just have some fun. I think I have been missing a lot and it annoys me. So Hannah, Betina and Nikki, my tres Marias. I love you gusy and I mkiss you guys badly. I want to use all my clothes and apend all my money getting wasted. Im coming back in two weeks and Im done shopping and I will come back with an empty pocket but with a great Grin on my face.
