He certainly is rather delicious. But I think Naveen Andrews is definitely one of the 0.05% of men who actually looks better with facial hair than without. And he only wears the beard when he's playing Sayid (or Kip, I suppose, in The English Patient). And Naveen's accent (north London) has less of an aura of mystery than Sayid's ("Naveen! Just imitate your Indian-immigrant parents speaking English and improvise revisions for two and a half seasons until we get around to hiring an Arabic dialect coach!"). On the other hand, Naveen is noticeably less scary than Sayid can be sometimes...
See I like the north London accent better. I'm not that into mystery. I like modern New York hunky boyfriend Naveen (and he's in scrubs during the first part! squee!)
Fortunately I live in the Midlands, nearish to Manchester, therefore our local accents, while very pretty and warm, are not as insanely sexy as the ones further south. I don't think I could function if I lived in London.

Naveen just seems so charming and brash and slightly off kilter. And he smiles. You know--that thing Sayid doesn't really do.
