(no subject)
Today was the best day I've had in a long while. I got a lot done, I did it all well, and I've got plenty of confidence in what I didn't get done. The weather today was so amazing! God, it was great. I wish I would have had more time to just chill out in the sun, but I did plenty of walking around campus. Corperate is coming on Thursday because a new store is opening up in Kearney and they said they'd be in the area. We weren't that busy, but Genna and I were cleaning so much that we only got a quick 5 minute break to shove pizza in our mouths and then we were working again. It was a lot, but it was easy. I'd like to say that the store looks outstanding. Now it's time for me to ask my boss for a raise.
The only thing that kinda bothers me is that I emailed my trumpet prof. about pushing my lesson back a day cause I've been out of town and working. I know he's not going to reply tonight, which sucks because I really don't want to waste his time listening to how unprepared I am. Shit. It starts at 9:30am, right after one of my classes, so I guess I'm just gonna have to talk to him personally right before my normal time. Oh well.
Last weekend I was over in Boulder, CO, hanging out at the Kappa Kappa Psi district convention. The events were pretty boring, but all the people I met and hung out with were cool as hell. Northern Iowa is a cool fucking chapter and I'm looking forward to chillin with them again. I finally realized why most guys join frats, and it's because you really do get a lot of close friends. 2 K's and a big ass PSI!
I really miss Jenna.
