Life Thus Far: I Have a Job! and Other Tomfoolery
After quite a lot of job hunting, I managed to get a summer job! Considering the economic times, I'm immensely grateful that I've managed to find anybody who's still hiring. I'm working at an art store, which is cool, but the job itself is kind of dull. But it's something to do and I get paid.
...Unlike my last job, which was actually volunteer work at an animal shelter/farm, and, also unlike my last job, I have less of a risk of being kicked by a horse. (No, seriously, I've been kicked by a horse. I had a limp for about a week. It's not something I'd recommend.) I survived my first week at my new job, so I'm going to celebrate that. Just because.
