Is that a real Ewok?

Good God. You'd think that someone so bored and becoming sleepier by the minute would just go to bed. But no, I'm stubborn. I will just sit here, nodding off, writing anything, to pass the time. I NEED TO JUST GO TO BED. AAAGH.

My Italian is coming along quite well. Already learned two very important phrases ("All the best" and "Thanks so much"), and I'm working on my third ("You're welcome!"). By the end of the year I will be able to hold a very strange conversation fluently in Italian, with all of those Italian-speaking people I know...

Happy new year, by the way. I rang in my 2007 with old movies, Chinese food, good company and a knee to the mouth. I've managed to find a new place in my heart for Jimmy Stewart and Cary Grant. Aah, yes.

Mike saved me some "Last Kiss" posters. :D (Now let's just see if he can save my job...) I've got one on the back of my bedroom door (at home) and will be finding a nice spot for one in our apartment at school. I now have an almost-lifelike portrayal of my future husband. I'm pretty excited.

It's weird what the new year has brought for me - the past has resurfaced and the future is in question. Kinda sucks. I'm so ready to make the best of this year, though. There are so many things to [hopefully] look forward to: 21st birthday, an internship (??), the beginning of my senior year of college ... Just keeping my fingers crossed about life.

As usual - nothing else to say. Everyone should read "The Giver." If you have, read it again. (Like you actually remember it from the 4th grade?) Kids' books rock.

Two weeks. Always conflicted. Only a year and a half left. Very, very scary thought.

Tummy hurts. Wash face. Brush teeth. Sleep. Arrivederci.

Dance with, or at least clap along to, the absurdity of life.

Good night and good luck. God bless and God speed.

P.S. - I got "Little Miss Sunshine" for Channukah! (And Movie Lines Magnetic Poetry Kit from Andrew. :D)
