oh man I just came across Nail Nerd and it's some of THE coolest nail art I've seen done.
The best part is some of it actually seems doable (but not the super artistic, detailed characters and stuff, at least not for me) and she provides some cool how-to's. I love the watermelon nails!
I'm going to try to do some gradients, they are subtle but super awesome.
I just got my free reward certificate from Ulta in the mail. Only a level 2, but free is free man! That's what got me started looking around for nail stuff - really into fun and bright colors lately. Speaking of that, have any of you smelled the new Coach Poppy perfume? I don't normally care and just get cheap-o stuff from bath and body works or whatever but I am in love with Poppy! The red one, not the purple. YUM! I got free samples of both in the mail (hahah I sign up for lots of free stuff) and I just want to smell that stuff all day! Super delish. The bad thing is that it's brand new and like $85 a pop. booo!
I'm trying not to buy unnecessary things. Nail polish and perfume are not necessities! But a girl can dream...
I will dream bigger and better in a new house. So budgets and no wants, just needs!
I know 4 bucks for a nail polish doesn't seem like much but if you cut out 4 and 5 dollar things all around, you would be surprised how much you can save! I'm trying! heheh
