The tarantula community in the Spotlight can go away now. I hate seeing a yucky spider every time I log in!
Ella's birthday weekend was so much fun! Well, it was super stressful for me, but also fun.
I was stressing over the party decorations and making sure all the guests were happy and having fun. Except one of the guests was Mandy and she's mad if she's not the center of attention so of COURSE she wasn't happy and of COURSE she wasn't having fun. As soon as she came in the condo she overheard Johnny telling Jeff what all drinks we had, he was listing them off, Water, coke, Coke Zero, Bud light, corona, and mandy SCREAMS 'ohhh beer! I want a beer!' I swear she acts like she is 17 instead of 27, and that drinking beer makes her sooo cool or funny or something. It doesn't sound like anything but she is just annoying. We only got beer because we knew she would complain if we didn't have it. But I'm not going to next time.
Anyway the party was nice and Ella had loads of fun and was so sweet in her little Birthday Girl tutu dress! She laughed maniacally at the balloons and her favorite present was a little baby broom that she carries everywhere. I was a little disappointed that she didn't demolish her smash cake, though. She put her hands in it a little bit but then decided to use a fork to eat it! Lily had cake in her ears and up her nose and down her shirt on her first birthday but Ella only got a little on her skirt and her hands and mouth...the usual places she gets any food when she eats!
The party was Saturday and then on Sunday we went to the Jacksonville Zoo. We went with Johnny's sisters Missy and Mandy and her son Nathan. I loved it! The best part was feeding the giraffes. They were so sweet and gentle and adorable! i want one for a pet! Of course Mandy got bored halfway through and started acting like a baby so we didn't get to see everything and had to cut it short. She is so bitchy! ugh. Anyway i just kind of ignored her and had fun with my kids and hubs. J loves animals so it was nice to see him happy and relaxed!
Monday we just kind of relaxed and cleaned up the condo to get ready to come home. J and I sucked all the helium out of the bday balloons and Lily and Ella were cracking up at us sounding so funny. It was fun but I got a super buzzy/headache from it! take a break if you try that!
Also I read Shanghai Girls and it was really good! Sad but good.
Saturday is the last day our store is open. My coworker Kory's last day was today because he got a job in orlando and I didn't think I would cry when he said good bye but I did! Which was so lame because I was checking out customers and they were looking at me like I was crazy. I don't know why I was so sad, Kory is really nice and all but I think I was more sad about never seeing that person again, if that makes sense. Like, that thought is really sad to me. Anyway hopefully all of us will get together again next Sunday to say goodbye!
