With Kazuma gone, I'm not sure what happened to the plans we had, or if anything ever came to fruition. I know many of you distrusted me because of my position here in the town, but rest assured, I will not let that interfere with our designs on getting more information about this place.

I admit that since he disappeared, I have been... less than enthusiastic about following through on his plans. Perhaps I waited to see if he was coming back. That seems less likely every day. So it is up to me now... and I am glad that girl, Kallen, prodded me into action.
