Oddly enough, they were eating lunch at a restaurant together. One would normally consider it as a date, if one ignored who the two people were (the fact that there was another present; Hibird also counted).
The date It was going fine actually. Until...
"Stop munching so loud, Dokuro Chrome."
Chrome frowned. "Is there something wrong with the way I eat?"
"Hn." Affirmative.
"What? Am I too noisy or something?"
"Yes. Now stop, or I'll bite you." Hibari said in a tone that brooked no argument.
A smile. "Hmm... I wouldn't mind much."
And then Hibari would've choked on his drink if he was drinking it. Instead, his hand shook slightly and soda splashed around and out the tumbler.
"...Are you serious?" his voice was clipped as he spoke.
Chrome looked as if she was pondering it for a moment, and then nodded. "Why not?"
There was awkward silence after that.
Hibari's ears might have turned slightly pink, if one was checking. His fingers drummed awkwardly on the table, painfully loud to his own ears. Seeing that Chrome just continued eating, he slowly picked up his sandwich and started to eat.
A minute of picking on his food later, Hibari stood up.
Chrome looked at him. "So..."
"Let's go," he said, and smirked. "We'll see if you were bluffing or not."
She grinned and followed him outside.

In the end, Hibari was the one who ended up getting bitten which was quite surprising. Really.
Though it was more surprising that he didn't mind as much as he could have. He even might've been amused, if one was checking.
