Today actually seems like a productive day.

I got up at 6:30, even though I didn't have to.  Went to the gym for half an hour, then went to Weight Watchers, because I thought there was a meeting, but it was just opening for weigh-in, which I did (5 pounds this week!  Huzzah!).  Then I went to Burke's to look for stuff for Little Shop, found two shirts, and then a bunch of other stuff for general wear.  Then, on a whim, decided to go to Goodwill down by Maxwell and found a cute little sweater for general wear and a really ugly skirt that I wouldn't buy in general, but since I have to be a bum on Skid Row, I bought it.  I can donate it to Sue afterwards...

Then, I got home, called Channel 8 tv about press coverage for Little Shop.  After that, found out that the first Harry Potter matinee today was at 11:30, so I high-tailed it out to Wynnsong.  If you don't want to be spoiled...
The movie for being the movie was okay.  They included some stuff with Ginny that was nice, about her being jealous of Cho because of Harry.  It obviously couldn't be included in the book because that would be too complex, but it worked really well in the movie.  There was some stuff that left out, that really bugged me. They left out the whole explanation scene in the Dursley kitchen and that kind of bugged me.  They added some stuff to the battle.  I thought they would definitely include all the of the injuries that the group incurred at the Ministry, but they didn't and that kind of bugged me.  They made the whole battle seem a little too innocent for being a Harry Potter battle.  They definitely can NOT do that for the last two books.  If they do that with the sixth book, I'm going to be very upset.  That battle at the end is very important.

The previews got me a little excited.  I can't wait for 'Hairspray.'  I was sitting in the theatre, singing along to the songs during the preview.  And then there's a movie called 'Enchanted' that looks cute.

But the big news today is that Terry wants me to stage manage "Nickle and Dimed."  I had said that I really didn't want to stage manage first semester to Ken because it looks like I have a lot of "paper" courses (Sue's wording, not mine).  I've got Form and Analysis (reading plays and, knowing Terry, LOTS of papers), Human Biology and Medicine, Marketing (which has the possibility for being lots of paperwork), Prin. of Management (which could also sound like a lot of paperwork), and World Demography (also sounds like the possibility for lots of papers and work).  I know I definitely do not want to stage manage the dance concert because it's going to be a HUGE affair, unlike last time, and I don't want to be blamed when that thing goes haywire.  I refuse.  And "Nickel and Dimed" was mainly just because of my crazy schedule.  On the plus side, it would mean one less monologue that I have to quick memorize for next season.  Thoughts, anyone???

On the double plus side, 33 MORE DAYS UNTIL I CAN COME HOME!!!!!
