Enemy of the Bane Part 2
And another end - at least this one is back next year.
It was good don't get wrong, but something about the very end felt very hollow. I think part of me thinks Maria should have been involved in this one in some way rather than 'The Mark Of The Berserker', that maybe it would have had a bigger impact in some way...I don't know, but something isn't sitting right.
Anyway!
Full of twists again - though I'm mostly thinking of the UNIT major who was really Bane - I don't think I could quite believe he was shot with the Brig's cane - just because it was a cane! And he shot him, what with Sarah Jane's ani-gun deal. Mind you a lot of Bane did die in this one - why exactly did Mrs Wormwood blow them up at the start? She didn't do that last time.
Sarah Jane and Mrs Wormwood really just need to sleep together and get it over with - that's my opinion. And I can't quite believe the sonic lipstick was crushed! Mind it was a bit of a cop out that there was another one - it would have been better if Luke had re-built it or something.
Speaking of Luke...aww I wanted to hug him again.
Who would have though Mrs Wormwood would have had such a strong maternal instinct? She did save Luke afterall - mind she would have put it down to fate - something else I wouldn't have figured for her thing either.
Was it me or did anybody else think the Brig's appearence in this whole story was a bit...wasted maybe? That they could have done something better with him?
That's all I have to say really...which is a bit of a shame as it was the last episode of the series.
