I had the exact same reaction. And started color matching for the scarf.

4 1/2 hours until the yarn store opens. I have time to write a pattern and then go buy wool of the correct colour.

I think there's definitely a red undertone to it. Photoshop tells me #7f4539 and #67422f (shade and light) which is definitely in the realm of the red-brown.

Oooh, that looks about right. Now to find the equivalent in Panda.

Cocoa seems close but not as much red underneath (actually seems to have a more blue undertone.) Then again, it's part silk which can never hurt.

If anyone comes up with a pattern, could they post it? I'm new at the knitting and stripes aren't my forte yet...

It made me so happy that I was not the only one to immediately decide that I would be knitting that scarf. :D

I don't knit, but in crochet I'd say:

Worsted/aran weight (Red Heart Colors below)
H hook/5.00 mm
Gauge: 8 stiches=2 in

35 (+2) chain

* Sc across in Wood Brown for 8 rows
Change yarn to Off White for 2 rows
Change yarn to Wedgewood Blue for 4 rows
Change yarn to Off White for 2 rows

Repeat from * until desired length

Tassle in off-white, blue, brown twice at both ends.
