"Or you'd have to kill me?"

"No no, Inspector." He turned around. A trace of humour quirked Mycroft's mouth. "Or I'd have to have you killed.

I'm sorry but I lol'd. Not a huge fan of BBC on the whole but their Mycroft - wonderful, as he is here. Oh, and kudos for working in CARD and the other canon cases.

I like this so much, the tone of both characters, and Mycroft seen through Greg's eyes.
Mycroft Holmes stepped out of the car, looking tall and cool and not-at-all-sweaty in a pale grey suit, and Greg felt suddenly like a dirty potato just pulled from the ground.
This made me chuckle, and made a vivid picture of the state of the two men, especially once the delicious scent of Mycroft Holmes came into it. Nice.

I never ever read Greg and Mycroft fics, but this one is making me break my own rules. It is very smart and sympathetic. Quite enjoyable.

This is absolutely delicious! Your Mycroft is a delight, your Greg is a fantastic foil whose instincts and boldness are a wonderful match for Mycroft's erudition and circumspect manner. The moments when they both speak uncomfortable truth to one another absolutely sizzle. Oh, and as a person who follows her nose often, having Greg be momentarily aroused by Mycroft's smell just made me go all melty. Can't wait to read the rest!!! *dashes off in haste*
