Wow. I don't know the original source, but you conveyed so much in a few panels! I love the lack of faces, for the most part, or partial glimpses. It's all about what's held back, it seems. Really beautiful. I'll have to try and find the story now!

Okay, just read the fic. WOW. Knowing what your art is about makes it even more touching and moving.
I didn't mention before, but the way you draw Holmes's hands with such delicacy, especially cuffed behind his back, made the great man seem so vulnerable and defeated. That was the worst part of the fic for me, the despair and frustration he was fighting. Lovely!

Oh my, your comments really made my day when you posted them! So sweet. The panel with Holmes under arrest was one of the first things I thought of when I read the story--once I had that in my head, I knew I had to do something multi-panel! Very glad you liked it and thought it fit tweedisgood's amazing work. :)
