A lot of people have been asking lately, and in general, what cons_detective did to make him such a horrible person. Those people must be relatively new to the fandom, because those of us who have been around for a while know what sort of a lying, cheating, drug-addicted scumbag he is. His actions really hurt the fandom in and caused portions of it to even close

Carl was a good bloke and being put in prison is pretty harsh on anyone. If he really is such a big man, hopefully he's big enough not to hold a grudge and put it behind him.

Hold a grudge against what, exactly? The only thing I've ever denied is having put the police on him, because I didn't. One of the HolmesChat mods was, and still is with Scotland Yard. Has anyone ever considered that maybe all this happened because he was doing his job?
