There was this short little fic I read once where the characters were in a regency era partu or something. Sherlock was distracted by Irene, until Mycroft told him that Lestrade might propose to fem!watson, and that she would probably accept because her running around with sherlock had ruined her reputation. Then Sherlock ran off looking for her

Except for being Tudor rather than Regency, that sounds like Sherlock - Tudor genderbend by sunryder.

If there's a Regency story like this as well, I'd like to know it myself.
