Okay, I know this is a direct quote (I copy-pasted it) but I can't seem to find this fic anywhere. It's cannon (ACD) Holmes/Watson, and it is not only one of the most gorgeous pieces of fanfic I have ever read, it's one of the most gorgeous pieces of writing I have ever read, hands down. I'm pretty sure it's pre-2009, if that helps, maybe from LiquidFic or somewhere similar? I have looked everywhere I can think of, but no luck at all.
