I'm looking for a fic where Watson pretends to be dying. I've looked everywhere, but I cannot find it.
Holmes faked his death again for the end of a case (by falling out of a window?) and Watson believed he was dead until Holmes swanned in like everything was fine. Watson decides to show Holmes that everything is not fine by turning the tables on Holmes.
Watson goes to a doctor friend of his to get a prescription for tuberculosis medicine then precedes to leave small hints for Holmes to discover. Holmes thinks that Watson is dying and freaks out. Watson tells Holmes that the illness was faked, Holmes promises not to fake his death again without letting Watson know ahead of time, then they kiss and make up.
