Notes: Hokay. So. Once upon a time back in February, I thought "hey, these Big Bang things seem pretty cool. And look! A Sherlock Holmes one!" And then, on a chariot of fire, this plot suggestion descended from the heavens and punched all my buttons.
Several months and several thousand words later, here we are. I have to thank lienne and ashen_key, my fantastic betas. Any remaining errors are mine and not theirs.
Finally, the title comes from the Modest Mouse song "Bukowski," which I listened to on repeat a lot during the planning stages.
Summary: Watson is asked to preside over an exorcism; Holmes, looking for an evening's entertainment, joins him. This is where everything goes wrong. Now it's up to Watson to save his friend. Along the way are Irene Adler, a murder investigation, and a secret Holmes has been keeping for years.
