Irene Update...
Apparently Irene has stalled--but that hasn't prevented Jim Cantore of The Weather Channel to experience the outer rain bands of the hurricane from where he is on New York's Staten Island (according to my mom). The eye hasn't even crossed the North Carolina-Virginia state border yet--that's how huge this storm is.
