A Trip to the Library with Surprising Results

Jun 16, 2011 15:00

I went to the library today in the hopes of checking out a copy of the movie novelization of Doom, but instead I ended up checking out Starship Titanic by Terry Jones (which is based off of a storyline by Douglas Adams) and Starfleet Academy: The Delta Anomaly by Rick Barba (now I know that there's books set in the AOS verse out there, yay!).
Anyways, I have this habit of holding books under my right arm, pressing them tightly against the side of my chest. Unfortunately for my libido, the way I was holding my books meant that Chris Pine's lovely face lined up perfectly with my right breast.
Of course I would realize this WHILE I WAS STILL IN THE LIBRARY. I actually felt my cheeks burn. And of course I would continue in my shameful ways by continuing to hold my books the same way all the way to the car, thinking about how close Chris Pine's face was to my breast.
If it weren't for the fact that I wasn't exposed to any alien substances (at least to my knowledge, I did bump into someone a few minutes prior to finding the Star Trek book...), I'd blame my blushing over a jacket design on sex pollen.
