2. What the thing you push around the grocery store is called: Shopping Cart, or just Cart for short.
3. A metal container to carry a meal in: Lunch box (which is in turn shortened to Box) or Lunch pail, sometimes just referred to as a Bucket; though usually not made of metal, in my experience.
4. The thing that you cook bacon and eggs in: Skillet, Frying Pan.
5. The piece of furniture that seats three people: There' such a thing as a piece of furniture that seats three people?? Sofa, Couch, Bench (if in a public setting).
6. The device on the outside of the house that carries rain off the roof: Drainpipe(s).

The covered area outside a house where people sit in the evening: If connected to the house--Porch (front/back, depending on location in orientation to the house its attached to); If not connected to the house--Gazebo. I've heard the term 'Sun room' used, but in my experience, people sit in their sunrooms during the day, not in the evenings.
8. Carbonated, sweetened, non-alcoholic beverages: Soda, Soda Pop, Pop, Soft drink(s), Cola, Coke...the list goes on and on for nearly forever.
9. A flat, round breakfast food served with syrup: Griddlecakes, Pancakes, Sausage [patties], Hotcakes, Eggs
10. A long sandwich designed to be a whole meal in itself: Sub, Sub Sandwich; Sometimes referred to as a Submarine Sandwich if there's money to be had for each word used...I'm looking at you, Charles Dickens!
11. The piece of clothing worn by men at the beach: There's men that wear clothes at the beach? Swim trunks; The tiny bits of clothes that conceal the least amount of skin are referred to by a special name--Speedo.
12. Shoes worn for sports: Sneakers, Tennis Shoes, Running Shoes (when running), Cleats (for soccer, baseball, etc.).

19. What's the evening meal?: Dinner.
20. The thing under a house where the furnace and perhaps a rec room are: Cellar, Basement.
21. What do you call the thing that you can get water out of to drink in public places: Water fountain, Vending Machine.
