There was a time when Sherlock would have claimed to be made of stone, it that were possible. So he made due with calling himself a sociopath, and kept people away. Sherlock was happy with not feeling, not loving, not caring what others thought of him.
When he met John, everything changed. John was warm, strong, deadly, and he looked so fantastically… touchable in his soft sweaters with his wonderfully adorable nose and ears.
When he finally had the man against him, hands and mouth and skin everywhere, he decided that he was very happy to be made of flesh.
