My dad is such a cheap bastard, but I should have known that he would try and make me feel like a complete loser. To better understand, you have to know that leo (my dad) was born into an extremely poor family. his dad never gave him any financial assistance, love or support. My dad decided that he did not want to be like his father, so he worked his ass of to become what he is today: super successful and extremely rich. Leo talks about how he wanted to become financially secure so his children would never have to want or need for anything, so that he could provide a life for his children that his father never could. Yet, Leo seems to think that since I am almost 18 I should be able to fend for myself, which means, that I should pay for my college and living. He thinks it will motivate me to work really hard so I can make even more fucking money. I fail to see the logic. He worked his whole life to NOT become his father; to whom he has confessed to having deep seeded anger toward.
