Do you think for yourself?

I respect everyone's right to their opinion*. However, what I cannot respect, is when people don't really have their own opinions, but rather regurgitate the opinions of those around them or what they view on TV. I especially cannot stand when a fellow woman does not form her own opinions, but rather just ingests and recites the same opinions of her boyfriend or husband. This is not the 50s anymore, we are free to have our own brains and opinions. If you are going to debate politics, you need to come correct with your own informed opinions. Don't come at people with the same sound bites and rhetoric you heard from your boneheaded boyfriend or the silly mouthpiece on that particular news channel that I can't stand. If you don't know what you're talking about, it will become clear very shortly into your speech.

*Though if I see one more Facebook friend championing McCorpse and Palin, I may have to start removing some folks.
