Yes, I know I owe a proper Tori Amos concert post. I've been to two shows on the ADP tour which were the best thing ever, and I don't know why I never even mentioned it. Probably cuz I've been busy being a Tori groupie on the interwebs, you know, refresh the forum page every five minutes to see the setlist update.
But this...this was just...I couldn't believe this actually happened. And that's why I'm compelled to mention it before I post about the shows I actually attended (NYC and Boston).
From yesterday's show at the Vic in Chicago. Last song in the Pip set. Me and a Gun with the band!!!!
Yes, that's right, you read that correctly. The normal a capella song got a super awesome hardcore make over which included -- get this -- props! She had a gun and knife. A gun and a knife!!! AND DID I MENTION ME AND A GUN WITH THE EFFING BAND???!!!!!!!!! *twitch*
This, my friends, is Tori Amos concert history, since this is such a monumental song in her career. It definitely warrants some sort of key smash situation --> ajbskgbksdbvksdb;vkbsdfkjvkfb
And there go another ten bucks for the official bootleg. ;)
