We can interprete everything McShep, that's our power. *g*
Hahaha. Yes, I know this. :P But it was alsways funny to me how many times I watch McShep vids and see these "moments" from John's perspective, and they're always ones taken from Sparky things. But the reaction shots are always applied to Rodney, lol.

To me McShep is fun, and it definitely populates my flist, but I can't help my hetero needs! *g* It's also very difficult imo to take I'd say the most Sparky episodes ever and make them McShep. Not fair! But threesome is allowed. ;)

And I absolutely agree with your first paragraphs about Sheppard and Weir as part of Atlantis. But for me Rodney was always part of that (Because face it, without him the city would drown. He tells it often enough *g*.) Those three were the leaders and belonged together (Not in that sense, or do they ;) I'm curious how Carter changes the dynamic.
I don't wanna talk about Carter. :P

Actually, I'd argue about McKay being part of the City. It's true that it would fall without him and he was missing not being in it in Return pt. 1 just like all of them, but he had to have the Ancient gene given to him so immediately he's not connected organically like John. As for Elizabeth, again, it all has to do with being the leader. And since she knows Ancient, it's also in her blood like that. I should write a long ass meta or something. This isn't a dig against Rodney or anything, I ADORE the man and he makes me cry all the time, but he's not a leader so it's just a slightly different story with him. However, without him the City would fall, lol. But Carter is definitely NOT the City at all. It is just another post to her.

Might I say something a little bit McShepy (is that a word?). Remember Tao and the scene at the end, there were tears too. He loves them both. Threesome!
Yes, that episode was very McSheppy for the McSheppers. He definitely didn't want to lose his bff like that.
But he likes to have sex with ladies.
Threesome is allowed. :P

But it's so very difficult to vid a 'romantic' McShep vid. I don't think I've ever seen a good one that wasn't an AU or experimental vid. For me McShep onscreen is not romantic. It's all about the subtext and the tension. But that is not that obvious because they are both a little daft at expressing their feelings. If you compare that to Daniel and Jack from SG1 it's worlds apart, vidding wise. They have all those hugs and sitting at the bedside. So a romantic vid is no problem there. You know what I mean?

Not in my universe. :P

Btw, I finished Dr. Who. OMG! Amazing. When is christmas. I need more.
I really can't decide which doctor I prefer. Ok, I know which companion (except Jack) I prefer and it is not Rose. But the doctor is difficult.
And it started so cheesy and I never thought I could get over those sometimes bad special effects but then you get sucked into the story and you don't care about big green monsters in human suits and cat nuns, you just go with it.
And I love it when the doctor shows his dark side. Like in the Runaway Bride when he destroys the children of the spider or in the episode when he becomes a human and imprisons the bad guys in the end for all eternity or when he's the enemy of the Daleks.
God, I should stop now. I actually just wanted to say that I liked it. *g*
