1. Describe your comfort zone-a typical you-vid. A typical me-vid would probably be something half the audience would have to close their eyes for. I tend to gravitate towards the visceral, an expression of emotional character journeys and general D-R-A-M-A. If the vid makes ME feel, then that's the comfort zone. My comfort zone is forever trying to get my audience to feel the FEELS.
22. Have you ever deleted one of your published vids? Never. Even though the early ones obv show some growing pains (I look at my Farscape vids and can easily spot when I didn't know how to zoom or punch into a clip myself so I had to use the show's own wide, medium, close up shots!), I still want to have a record of my progression. I think I made this rule by the second vid I ever posted; that I'd never delete them so I can learn from them. Also, to put things in perspective, a filmmaker never "deletes" their films once they're released, even if they get all the Razzies ever lol.
27. Do you accept prompts? Ugh, I suppose the honest answer is that no, typically I don't accept prompts. :( Someone on tumblr once asked if I accepted commissions and I had a think about it and honestly, the price would have to be pretty high in order to translate the amount of work that goes into editing a vid. It's soooo time consuming that I have to be very married to the idea to even go to vidding the prompts my own brain generates! So perhaps the closest thing to accepting prompts is participating in Festivids. But even there you still try to maneuver yourself so you get to vid what you actuallu wanna vid. :P
