I'm not entirely up to date on Dr. Who, but I love the song, so I had to watch your vid--I love how well you used movement in scenes in time with the changes in the rhythm of the song. Great vid!

Wow, did Bear McCreary know that he was *really* composing for Firefly? Because this song works so well and is a great backdrop Firefly's beautiful "arty" footage. Lots of quiet contemplation in this vid, which I love for Mal and Inara since they were never very good at speaking (rationally, anyway) about their feelings. I enjoyed your parallel usages of water/washing and then sex...kinda like they're so close and yet so far away. And when then music changed and lightened a bit and you brought in the Shindig footage, I thought that was a great way to match the mood.

Hee! I laugh real hard that it's Roslin and Adama's theme. On the show, it's kinda in the background and you never really notice it, but on the soundtrack I was like, wtf???

Oh wow!! I love the Mal/Inara video. I came here following chasarumba's link. The music was perfect and it made me remember why I love those two so much. So much just under the surface. I liked the flashes of crying during the dance scenes from Shindig. There were very well placed to show how even when they were "happy" (if never quite 'together') it wouldn't really last long because of their issues. Two thumbs up.

I loved beginning where you can't see their faces. And the close-ups you chose were amazing and so expressive, so much pain in some of them. I loved the scenes you included of Mal sitting alone in the kitchen. And the part with the ball, I loved the editing between Inara and Mal and then of Inara crying, very effective!
I almost did a double take at the end when I saw the composer was Bear Creary! That song has Firefly through every note!

I loved beginning where you can't see their faces. And the close-ups you chose were amazing and so expressive, so much pain in some of them. I loved the scenes you included of Mal sitting alone in the kitchen. And the part with the ball, I loved the editing between Inara and Mal and then of Inara crying, very effective! Yay! You speak of my favorite moments. I love how the beginning turned out, it works really well with the music. And the ball was fun to do, especially that bit with Inara crying. I wanted to be as evil as possible and find the happiest moment to cut into it with that amazing shot of Inara crying. Glad it worked out for you. :D
