Multifandom Anime Fic Recs Bleach, Code Geass, Gintama, Kuroshitsuji
Because I think I should post something other than Cosplay photos, here is a list of all my favourite fanfics from various fandoms... Some of these have probably already been recced a hundred times but it doesn't matter, good fanfic could always use more pimping.
There will be a reborn reclist soon... There's a lot of fics so I'm keeping them in a separate post.

At age fifteen, a newly orphaned Kira Izuru navigates his way through Pure Souls Foster Home for Exceptional Children and its sister institution, Seireitei Academy. Neither, he will learn, are aptly named.
Info: This is so far my favourite Bleach fanfic. Despite the fic being mainly Gin/Kira, my favourite ship ended up being Byakuya/Renji, though every single ship in this fic is very well written and I love all of them. If it weren't for this fic I probably wouldn't be able to stand Byakuya at all, but this one manages to make me really love him.
I also really like Kira in this fic. Though he's his usual depressed and suicidal self, he's still strong in his own way. Though Gin tries to manipulate and push Kira and mess with his head in typical Gin fashion, Kira stands up to him and doesn't let Gin walk all over him, and Gin becomes more and more interested in him because of it.
The fic is unfortunately incomplete and hasn't been updated in a long time, but even then it's still worth reading.

Title: Age of Innocence

Summary: The story of Kira, and to a lesser extent, Hinamori, Renji, and Shuuhei
in between Shinigami school graduation and the Seiretei arc: his growth
from naivety and happiness into what he is now, thanks to his Captain.
Info: I love Gin and his twisted sadistic mindgames. I love how he slowly tries to break Kira down despite Kira's trust in him, but also how he eventually falls for Kira too, growing more attached than he intended. This fic is very good plot-wise, and ties up with canon quite nicely. The sequel which is set during the Seretei arc is very good too.

Info: I like the dynamic between Ichigo and Grimmjow here. With Grimmjow being his usual catlike self, toying with his prey, but also incredibly possessive. The relationship seems to be shifting with Ichigo [spoiler: gaining superpowers too and] becoming more of an equal, unfortunately the fic hasn't gotten that far yet and is again, incomplete... I hate it when that happens with good fics. But I would still rec it cause it's my favourite Ichi/Grimm so far.

Info: Yes, another AU. And a highschool one at that. This one is not so cliche though (not that cliches are bad). Here Ichigo has some issues concerning pheromones... meaning everyone wants to have sex with him, or at least feel some sort of attraction towards him. It's not as cracky as it sounds, it's not a $lut!Ichigo or everyone/Ichigo fic, but rather it's a real problem for the guy, always getting him into fights and like the summary mentioned, constantly getting him kicked out of school. He ends up slowly falling for Grimmjow, whom he thought was the only person not effected by his pheromones. I haven't found the time to finish reading this yet, and I do get confused at times readiing it but it's pretty good, I like the overall plot and how the author takes time building up the relationship.

Title: Primary Gain

Summary:AU. Suzaku is an FBI agent with serious issues, serious denial and a death wish. It's Dr. Lamperouge's job to try to get him sorted out...but things get disrupted when Lelouch's past comes back to haunt him.
Info: I love novel length fics like this, great characterization and plotline. I love how they made Brittania into something like the mafia and Lelouch's role within it. The emotions in this fic is very well written, and Lulu makes for an execellent psychiatrist.

Info: This story takes place just after R1 and deviates from the storyline in R2. It deals with Suzaku's life after the death of Euphemia, his becoming a colonel and getting closer to Prince Scniezel. The build up of the relationship is good, very in-character for both of them, I like how Suzaku insist on making Japan a priority despite his feelings for Schneizel and yet still grows more and more loyal towards him. And really, i love every story I read that's by jusrecht :)

Info: This fic is a series of one-shots, each one more hilarious than the next. Basically a 'behind the scenes' sort of thing, showing things that happen in everyday life at various points in the anime. There's Kagura's assembling of Zero's harem, C.C.'s various attempts to get more pizza involved in their revoltion, the student council's pizza addiction interventions and other crazy things.

Summary: Gintoki and Hijikata are kidnapped by an alien, have a lot of sex, fight a lot, and talk about contracts. Hijikata gets cat ears and a tail as well as girl-bits. Cliches run rampant, and there are pirates. Raunchy fun and adventure!
Info: Don't let the summary fool you... yes, this fic is cracky, but it's not rampant randomness cracky and it's not 100% comedy... rather it's cracky in the way Gintama itself is cracky. Meaning everything is stylistically perfect and everyone is in character. This fic manages just the right blend of comedy and seriousness, taking obscenely absurd situations and making them fit the characters. Though the first two chapters are more comedic, the third chapter deals with the aftermath of the first two, changing the mood of the fic without it being out of place. The porny part is execelent too :D Though if you're not into guys with girly bits it might squick you... but those scenes can be skipped, and there's a less NC-17 version on fanfiction.net.

Pairing: Ciel/Sebastian, Alois/Claude. Sebastian/Claude in the past. Might be more ships coming.
Rating: NC-17
Summary: Modern AU. This verse contains various stories, the main ones being 'Fool Me Twice' and 'Once Upon a Never'.
In 'Fool Me Twice', Sebastian catches a glimpse of Ciel at an airport and instantly become an obsessive stalker. Eventually he gets his hands on Ciel but Ciel easily turns the tables on him. He blackmails Sebastian into becoming his butler (read: slave), using Sebastian's obsession with him to his advantage. Deliciously twisted mind games ensue. (I'm terrible at summaries, don't let my ineptitude stop you from reading it).
'Once Upon a Never' is set in the same universe but instead focuses on Alois/Claude. Alois is a sexual abuse victim who's been rescued and is now living with foster parents. He's generally bored with life until he meets Claude, a volunteer teaching basketball at the school. He instantly catches on that Claude is a pedophile and ends up in a sexual relationship with him, eventually falling in love with him like he does in the anime.
Though these two stories start out at different points, it will eventually connect with each other, but the author hasn't gotten to that point yet.
Info: I am absolutely in love with 'Fool Me Twice', the dynamic between Ciel and Sebastian is unique but still blends perfectly with what we're shown in canon. I like the way Ciel takes control of Sebastian slowly chipping away at his sense of self while Sebastian slowly chips away at Ciel's sense of control. The sexual tension and constant teasing on both sides is definitely fun too. What I love most about this fic is Human!Sebastian, I actually like the Sebastian in this fic more than in canon, I find him more relatable because he's human, despite still being a perfectionist, he's still capable of making mistakes, and feeling depressed or dejected, and yet he manages to maintain the characterization from the anime, showing that he's a monster who's ready to devour his master at any moment as well.
'Once Upon a Never' is kind of the opposite of 'Fool Me Twice' in terms of relationship dynamics. While Fool Me Twice relies heavily on teasing and mind games, Once Upon a Never is more openly sexual. The difference mirrors the differences in Ciel/Sebastian and Alois/Claude's relationship in the anime. Where Ciel/Sebastian meets each other on the same level mentally, Alois and Claude shares a more physical relationship and yet is at a completely different place on a mental level. Again the characterization of this fic is perfect, definitely worth a read, and you should definitely read both of these fics together.

Summary: Asylum AU. If everyone believes you mad but yourself, who is the one in the wrong? Ciel Phantomhive, patient D18, is not mad. Sebastian Michaelis, new orderly at St. Victoria's Asylum, agrees.
Info: This fic is also very amazing. Like in the previous fic I've recced, Sebastian is human but still maintains the characterization from the anime. I like how Ciel entices Sebastian, how Sebastian slowly grows attach to him, clinging to what he thinks is the only piece of sanity in a place where the psychiatrists and orderlies seem insane. I also like the mystery elements, the overall plot is very good. Incomplete but ongoing.

What I love most about this fic is Human!Sebastian, I actually like the Sebastian in this fic more than in canon, I find him more relatable because he's human, despite still being a perfectionist, he's still capable of making mistakes, and feeling depressed or dejected, and yet he manages to maintain the characterization from the anime, showing that he's a monster who's ready to devour his master at any moment as well.
'Once Upon a Never' is kind of the opposite of 'Fool Me Twice' in terms of relationship dynamics. While Fool Me Twice relies heavily on teasing and mind games, Once Upon a Never is more openly sexual. The difference mirrors the differences in Ciel/Sebastian and Alois/Claude's relationship in the anime. Where Ciel/Sebastian meets each other on the same level mentally, Alois and Claude shares a more physical relationship and yet is at a completely different place on a mental level. Again the characterization of this fic is perfect, definitely worth a read, and you should definitely read both of these fics together.

Info: This fic is also very amazing. Like in the previous fic I've recced, Sebastian is human but still maintains the characterization from the anime. I like how Ciel entices Sebastian, how Sebastian slowly grows attach to him, clinging to what he thinks is the only piece of sanity in a place where the psychiatrists and orderlies seem insane. I also like the mystery elements, the overall plot is very good. Incomplete but ongoing.
