More about why I love LA.
This morning I was watching one of the local morning news shows here. There's one that's actually great, because there are frequent occurances of boob-jiggling, and a lot of weird random LA stuff: dancing Rabbis playing basketball, dogs skateboarding on a parade float, people snowboarding on Venice Beach with trucked-in snow, etc. (I am not making any of this up.) Also recaps of high-speed police chases (we televise these here, but there haven't been many lately...) and announcements of any especially interesting crimes.
So today, one of the news anchors was pretending to be a woo-woo spiritual guy who meditates and then imparts his deep thoughts. The deep thought for the day was:
"Keep your fights clean, keep the sex dirty. Have a good weekend."
