so let's see.....
again I have been lax on the updates-
in some stroke of luck my internship lady was like "oh, why don't you take thursday/friday off?" and I was like "oh yes" Thursday H+I saw Sketelton Key, Friday I went out for Indian and maple frozen yogurt with the Martha I am going to grow into (her name actually is Martha, oddly enough) and coffee ofcourse, because present and future Martha are both addicted.
Saturday Heidi and I went up to Burlington for some shopping, (and vanilla lattes, which are my newest obession) and saw Red Eye after which Heidi turns to me and goes (after I had blathered for several minutes about how jealous I was that Rachel McAdams looks absolutely gorgeous in every color she dyes her hair) "so that was the same girl we saw in that other movie" and I was like "what movie?" She was refering to Skeleton Key and I was like "ummm.....do KATE FREAKING HUDSON AND RACHEL MCADAMS LOOK EVEN VAGUELY SIMILAR?" and then I got to make fun of her for several hours about it. while she ate sushi.
You will note that I am leaving out any report on how working at the restuarant went on these days, and that is simply because it is too painful to recall. seriously. it has never been more busy than it was on friday night and actually just thinking about it makes my stomach hurt. the end.
Sunday I helped my mom and my little mini biscuit toy (named walt) set up for the wedding this weekend. . .then laura and I went niccos cucina and had ceasar salads and a very cute waiter (think money money, if he hadn't gotten ugly) who was all super enthusiastic about EVERYTHING:
cute blonde waiter: would either of you ladies like parmesan cheese on your salad?
me: yes please
cbw: AWESOME!
laura: me too
cbw: DEFINATELY!
[ha.]
halfway through dinner this swarm of very tiny creepy ass bugs appeared. and then suddenly they were everywhere. all over the table. in people's drinks. burrying into my 70 dollar sweater. it was beyond gross (and made me think I had stepped into some new horror movie called "THE BUGS") then we fled the restaurant and they were like COVERING the car, and my sister had left the windows down so they were actually IN the car. and yes, it was as gross as it sounds.
then we went to B&N, because when I am feeling ick to the 100% that always makes me feel better, (although the lady at the cafe gave me a vanilla chai instead of a vanilla latte, and that was ummm, not as good as it sounds) before heading to le north end to see The 40 Year old Virgin.
Heidi and I hit burlington again last night (upon my truimphant return from costco-land) and we had dinner outside at Sweetwaters. . .and I was all "grrr....my best friend (guy) has been very distant lately" and then practically as soon as those words came out of my mouth he appeared. and I was like "hmmm...perhaps if I talk about someone they will appear" so I tried "why ryan gosling sure looks bad with no hair" but alas he did not come strolling down church street. anyway. speak of the devil was there with all his friends and it was fairly akward, and then they got this table DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM US at Ri-ras so if you even looked in that direction you would immediately lock eyes with them, and umm, that didn't help deflate the akward-ness even slightly. as you can imagine.
today I am back at my internship, and I still can't figure out when the last day is supposed to be. but I'm seriously hoping this week, because I need a break before I have to go back to school, but we will see.
anyway. that's all the updates for now.
