to cereal and mountain dew...oh! and a centipede!
i am feeling like david letterman tonight. so here goes my top ten. drum roll please...
Top Ten Things I've Done this week and last week that i'm proud of :
1. angie and i won a long battle w/ christmas lights last wednesday. we are empowered. give us your huddled fuses yearning to be changed.
2. taught my youth group kids to play catch phrase in a group of 20 ppl.
3. hosted a baby shower at the last minute that i didn't even know i was supposed to host until a couple days before. i threw 56 cotton balls behind my head - blindfolded and all!
4. friday i survived staying in a hotel in lexington w/ three teenage boys by myself. allow me to clarify - it was my brother, my cousin, and one of their best friends. i am not a sugar momma for anyone.
5. saw uk almost beat north carolina at the rupp. also the same day i saw ashley judd sitting across from me. and i think my hair looked better than hers. weird!
6. got much needed sleep. at one point last week i hadn't slept in almost 72 hours.
7. grocery shopped in one hour, threw a birthday party in one hour, went to prayer meeting at church for one hour, and decorated my christmas tree until 3 am monday.
8. sat in traffic school at madisonville for FOUR hours tuesday night b/c i have a smart mouth when i drive through union city, TN. or so the popos say.
9. i've been having great hair days and may get to close on my house this week.
10. friday i will be visiting the goblin. and i will visit w/ grace. (only jon doss will probably know what that means. he made it up. hahaha! that kills me every time.)
so there you go. that's not all i've done since my last post, but those are definitely the highlights that i remember. i am currently not sleeping thanks to a mountain dew, captain crunch cereal, and a centipede i found in my bathtub (most will not understand that).
* before i go something must be said. about all the losses of family members to all my friends - i am so sorry. i have been praying for you all. if there is anything i can do, call me.
** i will post a pic of my christmas tree soon in case anyone cares. decorating for christmas is like a prize for me. i need counseling.
