He leant forwards; the sword he held at the other’s neck nicking the skin beneath is slightly as he licked his lips. Eyes sparkling dangerously, Prussia let a slight leer light his features as he fought to hide the way his chest heaved with exertion. “Yield,” he breathed dangerously, satisfaction creeping up his spine.
For all that he had been pinned to a wall, England looked almost entirely unaffected. His breathing was a little laboured, yes, and a sliver of blood had oozed down his throat from the cut, but his expression was as self-confident as ever. He merely looked up to meet Prussia’s gaze -considering the albino calmly, perhaps even with disinterest. “I’m sorry, what was that?”
Prussia huffed in annoyance, trying to ignore the trickle of sweat rolling down his forehead. They’d been fighting for a good couple of hours, blades flashing as the last embers of the sun died out and gave way to darkness; neither had managed to gain the upper hand for more than a few moments yet. Prussia intended to change that. “I said, y-”
The sweat had run into his eye and the split second of hesitation it induced was all England needed to hook a leg around Prussia’s ankle to have them both tumbling to the floor, Prussia’s sword clattering on the floor as England’s flashed into life again as it was freed.
Now it was Prussia who had been pinned, and England who was smirking.
“What was it you were saying? I’m afraid I didn’t quite catch it.”

A/N: This is a drabble that I wrote for the fanfiction meme (found here) for anyone who may want to read it without having to wade through all of my waffle beforehand! XD It basically said to write a few sentences (*cough*blasphemy!*cough*) for your favourite pairing or character.
This is the first thing I've written for Prussia and England for an age! I'd almost forgotten how fun it was (to my extreme shame ^^')... I dunno, I think the piece itself is a little cliché in terms of Prussia/England fic and I prefer the stuff I wrote for the other meme I did (it was a lot more challenging~), but I'm still getting back into the swing of things so hopefully there'll be more Prussia/England from me in the near future!
As usual, I'm always at a loss when it comes to thinking of titles; thankfully, although whitewings9 says otherwise, she's awesome at thinking of them (...seriously, she's thought of names for at least three of my fics ^^' )! As you may have guessed, she thought of the title for this~ ^^b
On another note, for anyone who may be interested I'm offering fic and personalised friendship bracelets over at help_japan ; I was really tempted to offer making cuddly mochi as well, but I don't want to overcommit myself and then be unable to deliver ^^' Anyway, check out the whole comm, there's some awesome stuff on offer and you'd also be helping a good cause if you find anything! ^^b
