This was adorable! Even though I've never been to England, somehow I feel that you portrayed it perfectly! The kitten plush had me Aaawing like crazy, and the end was uber-cute! If this was on Fanfiction .net, I would favorite this. <3

Oh, and your icon is win xD

I'm really glad you like it! =D I actually went down to the beach about a month ago with a group of friends so a lot of this - minus the fluff XD - was based on the trip there =3 All of the rides at the amusement park were a complete rip off though ^^' Speaking of ff.ent, I need to link the post of this I made there on this; thanks for reminding me!

Cool! Here in America's stomach, any real beach is hours, if not days, away, so I love reading about them! Yeah, real life is sometimes the best place for Fic inspiration. :3 Too bad about the rides. Tell me when you get it on FF! :D

Woah! That's quite a distance! We were fairly close to the one we went to though traffic was horrendous on the way back and both drivers ended up with sunstroke as well as sunburn ^^'

I. I loved this fic so much I don't even have the words to express myself.

I love the easy way you wrote it, how well it flows from the meeting to the chip shops to the beach itself. England buying lunch and ice cream for Japan then going on their 'date' (with Japan feeling like he's in a shoujou manga oh my heart XD), followed by just lazing around in the sun. I like how you touch on accents of the nations and England's interaction with his citizens.

But my favorite part has to be the very last bit, where they realize how much they both want their relationship to go back to being as close as they were before, and how a wall was finally broken down. <3

All in all, I really enjoyed reading this. :D

=D I'm so glad that you enjoyed reading this! And particularly that it seems to flow, as I had a lot of trouble with that aspect while writing it ^^' I wasn't sure if the ending felt incomplete or like a cop-out either, so I'm happy that you thought it worked okay =3
