YAY
Hip hip Hooray....hip hip hooray! I finally got a job! A normal halfway decent job! I went to an interview with the president of that one company that roger told me to call and they were pretty much just trying to find a position that would fit me best. He said he would call me today, yesterday. But, a girl from HR called and asked me to come in today to speak with the chief of operations. So I went in there today wearing the same suit so embarrassed but at least I had a different colored shirt underneath. Anyway, they pretty much just explained this position and it deals with working among HR, Marketing and Accounting...so its perfect for me! So they offered me the job on the spot and I start on Monday. It has a lot of perks too, its right down Michigan Ave right past "the magnificent mile", an awesome office on the 24th floor, 17 vacation days that I can use right away, benefits (BCBS PPO), Flex-time (where if I need to go to a doctors appt one day I just need to make up those hours another day). The only thing is that the people I work with are older. The company is called Alfred Benesch & Company, its an engineering consulting firm. I have yet to meet the engineers but i'm hoping there are some young studs, haha doubt it. I have to go shopping now because its a pretty dressy firm, most people were wearing suits but you don't have to just maybe once in awhile. Oh yah and the pay isn't too bad either, its about 30k/yr to start but you get raises every 6 months. Oh well, i'm out of cigs so i'm gonna go walk my lazy ass to the store. Oh and never listen to Lumps by Black eyed peas when your on public transportation, it came on my Ipod and for some reason I started cracking up. People were giving me wierd looks..haha, oh well off to the store.
