Geez, you never realize how much you depend on internet until you don't have it! I'm actually at Caribou Coffee right now because I was itching to check my email, like I even get anything exciting! Well I'm now living in Chicago, in my little tiny ass studio, but it has an awesome view. I really need to find a job though because I'm already bored and I'm afraid to venture out by myself cause I don't know where the hell I am going half the time. Saturday I was extremely bored so I called heidi up and got the numbers for a few of her friends that I know, we ended up going to a bar called Sopo, it was packed. We ended up staying out until 5am, thats something I'm not used. Although, most of the bars close at 2, there are a number of bars that stay open until 5! Needless to say everyone is pretty shitfaced by that time. I had to take a taxi when we left the after hours bar and didn't realize I had no money left to pay the taxi guy, but luckily I found 5 dollars floating around but I couldn't give a tip, sarry. It still hasn't really hit me yet that i'm here for good, I wonder when that time will come? I guess it has only been 3 days. I had to go grocery shopping which without a car is a real hassle, I couldn't get to much cause I had to be able to carry it 8 blocks. Thats one thing that i'm not gonna like getting used to. Well hopefully all this walking will help me lose a few pounds! Oh my god its soo funny i'm at caribou and there are soooo many gay men here! I guess its because I'm like 3 minutes from the heart of boystown. oh well, I gotta go cause i'm meeting heidi after work and going to pick up a few well needed things. I will try to update regularily if I get my internet working that is!
