(no subject)
Somehow, I cut out the top half of this entry. Not sure how I did that, but it said something like I am the happiest girl in the world, I'm getting a dog! Ok carry on.
He isn't exactly the breed of dog I wanted, but he's awful cute, and small enough to fit in our dinky apartment. He has some behavioral problems, mostly because he needs alot of attention. I feel up to the challenge though. Any advice would be greatly appreciated though. He's just so cute. He's tiny, and looks like a black and white Chihuahua. Actually, his name is Speck, because he looks just like the dog that was in Pee-Wee's big adventure. I'd like to change his name to Space Dog (it's the name I've had picked out for a dog), but I don't think he'd take to having his name changed, so I'll keep calling him Speck. So, now I'm picking out dog sweaters, and trying to find jack russell training manuals on the net. hehehe Just kidding about the dog sweater part, well kind of...
He is coming to stay with me for good on Friday.
I have to make a comment here. Jeremy is just the sweetest most wonderful boyfriend in the world. He absolutely loves dogs, but I know that a toy dog is not the ideal mate for a man. He wants a golden retriever, or some kind of dog that is big enough to run and play with, oh and that doesn't squeak when it barks. Keeping this in mind, it took him only 2 seconds to say, "Yeah sure take him". He did roll his eyes though when I mentioned the cute little pink collar and dog sweater we are selling at work though. :)
You know what though, I think he's such a sweetie that he'd even put up with that. Can't have my little baby getting cold now. :) (the dog not Jeremy)
