I HAVE RETURNED!!!! :)
Hey everyone! I'm back! Did you all miss me? I sure hope so, cause I sure missed you guys....it has been a rough couple of weeks, and I apologize for my absence but with everything that has been going on, I just had way to much on my plate. Just trying to adjust to working again, and it's taken me a while to get my shit together and to get organized...it's been harder than I thought.
I've been working everyday...although I was off Saturday and Sunday, I was so busy, I never did get a chance to hop on and write anything of substance...I was busy busy busy. I have got a lot accomplished this week...and I FINALLY got my craft room all cleaned out and organized....you all know how long I've been bitching about that. I even started on my ornaments, and I've got about 15 done already, and 18 more ready to paint and decorate. :)
I have an awful lot to do this year...and I'm even making some for those of you who would like a handmade Christmas ornament from me, yours truly, so if you would like one....please let me know by commenting to this post and saying so. :)
I have about 15 boxes to move to storage, I just don't have room for all this shit...so right now, they are sitting in my living room driving me insane, and with my schedule this week, I don't know that I will get to them. You know how I hate messyness. Being the anal beeeatcchh that I am :p! I was supposed to be off on friday...BUT...I am working overtime, and at another store on friday...money money money...thats what I keep telling myself. So no day off for me this week.
As far as work in general is going, I am learning fast, and everyone is taking notice. Sharon, one of the assisant managers said that my name was specifically brought up in the managers meeting, about my performance and quality of work. So all my hard work has not gone unnoticed.... :) (yay!) Sharon also told me that I will probably be next in line for a lead clerk...which basically means keys....and lower management :) I'm getting along with everyone at work...and I'm doing my best...so we'll see huh? The whole friday thing, working at another store, came from the BIG BIG boss, who has made it clear that she likes me, and she is going out of her way to throw overtime at me. Makes me feel good, and it's exactly what I need to boost my damaged self esteem.
Sharon and I have become friends, and I love working with her. She is sweet and really it was her who gave me the low down on how things really work at Goodwill. She is a sweet person. She is 40, and she has 2 teenagers, and her husband just fucked her over. She's also black :) So you know I love her attitude! Everyone else is cool, and I don't mind working with them. Except Lazy Holly. But good news! She gave her 2 week notice! Good! See ya later lazy beeaatch! She's got A LOT of growing up to do, thats for sure....
Things with Chris have been good, and he's been trying really hard, so no complaints there. He's running a big truck again, but for a different company. Last week he was gone from Mon to Wed, so sometimes he doesn't come home. I really don't know how well he's going to like it....it's up in the air all the time so I guess only time will tell.
I haven't been back to therapy, but I think I will try to get an appointment some time this week. I guess I could go in and try to talk...I'm still having bad days...but thats to be expected I guess...
I missed you guys and there is no way I could possibly catch up, so if there was anything big in your lives that I missed please fill me in! :) I wanna know.
So I have returned, and I will be keeping up as much as possible..even though I'm quite busy....
Ok thats it for now. I've got some cleaning to do, and then I'm going to go work on my ornaments....
