in more positive news...
i got my new camera today. olympus sp560. i love 'er. been working with her all day and figuring stuff out, some amazing features. i'm glad i finally went for it. prepare yourselves for a barage of picture posts. at least i've got cats, cameras, and cooking. they never let me down.
i had baked some basil parmesan bread a week or so ago, turned out great, but alas, fresh baked bread goes stale so fast...so what to do with the leftovers? i decided to have my hand at making homemade stuffing/dressing for the first time! it turned out just as well as i had hoped. it's so fun just letting creativity and passion flow. a chop and saute here, a soak and seasoning there, a bake, voila, and buon apetito!
i miss feeling loved, appreciated, and cared for by a special person. i just don't understand how some people can be the way they are...i'm pretty sure i deserve better than this. maybe i'm just to mature, or asking for/ expecting too much. this is such a fucking broken record rant and i am getting fed up with it as much as you are. he needs to get his act together.
alex is back for winter break. 'twill be fun. :) a very gracious mouth to bake for! and not too far off now and robsy will be home too! i can't wait!!!
pyramid brewery is the maker of my favourite Apricot Ale so i decided to give their winter warmer, the Snow Cap Ale, a go. i wasn't let down...you should try it.
tomorrow i'm taking joony roo and missy for their annual picture with santa. that's right.
