I look at you, my sweetest love,
Your soul, a burning scar,
As pure as snow, as red as blood,
A rose is what you are.
Your petals soft, you have no thorns,
They withered long ago,
My love for you is all I see,
And all I'll ever know.
Your passion, hidden, buried,
Still, the sweetest ever made,
I feel you burning in my mind,
My love don't be afraid.
I know you're scared to open,
Scared to fully blossom free,
I'll hold you close until I die,
Your heart is safe with me..
My dearest one, my precious rose,
Come join me in my dance,
I know that we may trip, but please,
Just smile and take a chance.
Though the world may refuse to see,
The beauty of it all,
I will not let you fade away,
Nor will I let you fall.
