In a week where I could have really used an easy ride, things have got complicated. Wednesday afternoon at work was quite pleasant, I pottered around, looked bemused and didn't get lost. I even got some errands covered after making myself a little to-do list.
Then on Thursday morning my car decided to have an embolism. It needs a special part which won't arrive until tomorrow and barely moves under it's own steam at the moment. Stranded, I spent Thursday at home and did my best to be active; the grass has been cut (long overdue, it was over a yard high!) and the Shelby has been given a good clean. Seeing the Shelby all nice and shiny has prompted me to get it sorted ... so it's now insured and taxed and the (hopefully only) required spare part is winging it's way from America as we speak.
Working on the cars in combat trousers has given me a distinctly Butch vibe which I've not felt in a long time. It will evaporate tomorrow since it's leg waxing time (oh thank goodness I've got time for that at last!).
I'm still getting headaches, though less severe, my cognitive capacity is a bit lower than it was (I can still work stuff out fine, it just takes me longer) and I'm unable to hold my hands still, they have a little shake all on their own ... I hope these are temporary problems. I plan on returning to the ice on Sunday afternoon, although at a steady pace for a while.
