Is America really like that?
Two Americans in the MovieBuffs comm have said that after watching Avatar they threw their 3D spec in the bin rather than the recycling box.
Last week someone in another comm confirmed that they didn't have recycling available for electronics goods.
Is America really like that? Do people really not care about stuffing rubbish in holes in the ground? I realise I'm no environmental saint (an hour's drive to work does not make for a low carbon footprint) but I don't go out of my way to throw more things in the bin than I have to!
Gah! It just seems so damn backward, especially in the world's richest country ...
