i'm in the NYC
still
and as always
i'm kind of tired
just got up from a nap
i'm about to eat
then i'm going to make my way to the school library
bone up on some reading
and then
for my art homework
i am going to go to penn station, central park, and possibly ride a subway to no where
just to draw people
i'm actually very excited for the drawing people part
and i kind of really want to just draw people
i should probably get out of here sooner than later if i want to do that
but i've got a world of time even though i have none
i just have to be back by 8 in order to buy my art supplies for fashion class
i feel like i do nothing, but i know i actually do alot
i mean
i'm in new york city
but there's alot of sitting time
some waiting time
some inbetween don't know how to treat time time
its weird
and i haven't done any slamming yet
kind of weird...
this wedenesday is when i start
at the nuyorican
i think i have the three pieces i want to do
i may only get the chance to do one thugh
which is weird
i'm so used to just knowing that i'm in the top 5
and i need 2 pieces
so starting all over is going to be hard
but it turns out
i'm still amazing here
after doing two random acts of poetry
my roomies, and random guy i spat with was like
"yoooooooooooooooo"
and even with bgirlin', my girl veronica was looking at me doing my thang and all the bboys in the room and she was like
"dj, you're just as good, if not better than some of these guys...yea, they have power moves, but see you've just got that rhythm"
kind of keeps me mystified
