clairty... some good realizations...
There's sometimes a point when you spend a day or two thinking about past relationships or flings or whatever they were, because you're preparing yourself for a new one. Today, I thought about Ryan. Yep, that's what I said. I thought about Ryan T. Bell. Mr. passion himself. I thought about Nathan. I thought about what I'm doing differently now. I thought about what I've learned.
I thought about all the amazing qualities that Ryan had. I loved to talk to him. He was sooo passionate about things. He was a "deep thinker." He challenged me to think and learn.
Nathan loved me. He REALLY loved me, but he wasn't the kind of person that could be what I needed him to be. He couldn't be "the good boyfriend."
After all the thinking about what these guys did that I liked... I started to think about how different David is compared to these guys. David is so much more. It's the first time I've had a guy consider that my feelings should be important to him. He realizes that it's important to call when you say you will. It's important to have your priorities straight. It's important to be a good person. It's important to me that the guy I'm with no do drugs, and believe it or not, I actually want a guy who doesn't want me doing them either. It's important that he is serious about dating girls, because he does eventually want to marry one and he's not discounting ones right now, just because he's young.
He doesn't mess around with other people while we're deciding what is going on. He doesn't want me to either. He can admit willingly that he LIKES ME and would date me immediately if the situation was any different. The best thing... he's amazing in bed. And when I say amazing... that is not an exaggeration... not only is he "well endowed" but he ACTUALLLY knows how to use it, unlike some other people I know.
My favorite thing... he's 6'4" so when he kisses me sometimes, instead of leaning down and making me look up, he just picks me up to kiss me. And he's that strong. That's what I get for falling for a marine, and a hot one at that :-)
