finally!!
so, i'm finally reading the historian! i have so been looking forward to pleasure reading...woot!! :) i bought the damn book in january and it is now just yesterday that i started reading it....so far (only 80 pages in), i really like the writing style and the shifts in perspective...i've heard from people that it's slow moving and confusing but i have not found that to be the case as of yet! it feels so good to be consumed by a book that has absolutely NOTHING to do with school! i probably need to find a way not to be such an obsessive reader...so i can read for pleasure all year long, and not just summers and breaks. i don't know about you, but when i get into a book--i can't put the damn thing down. i look at it...it calls to me...pick me up....one more chapter...and...one more chapter....and five more chapters....yeah. i'll read until i have to prop my eyeballs open with frickin' toothpicks. i'll stay up all night until i pass out, face-first in the middle of the book (i know, hot, right?)--anyway, after i'm done with this one, i want to find a nice new vampire novel that i can obsessively read and start the whole process over again. good times.
