Oh, HOLLY... Just oh...

Harry still thinks of Neville with a profound sadness. He'd been elevated to hero status after the Battle of Hogwarts, of course, and had experienced a fallout not unfamiliar to Harry after the dust had settled. What, you mean I don't get my parents back now? Harry recognized the look on his face like he was peering into a mirror. Feeling that no one could understand Neville the way he did, he began spending more time with him.

Oh, the way you set up that relationship was just PERFECT.

"Sorry," Teddy whispers, as if there is someone else here who is sleeping. "I was afraid it would spill."

Oh, Teddy is so SWEET and he wants it already, and oh...

Teddy is rocking back in agony -or pleasure?- as if he's being fucked mercilessly by some invisible force. He's - oh, God, open, and he's being filled up by something, drooling onto his pillow with his eyes shut as if he's being rocked to sleep instead of fucked senseless.

wow. you made me not only read a pairing that squicks me, but made me actually LOVE the story. the harry you've described is so different from the one we usually see - he's cowardly in a lot of ways and unable to truly connect to anyone, and it's very interesting to see this kind of characterisation.

and the sex? mm, mind-blowing! now i want an artist to draw that scene where teddy's being fucked by edward!

Teddy wraps a leg around his back and laughs into his mouth, makes him wonder how he'll divide his halved fortune among his children, because this is worth all the practical travesties he's avoided for so long, worth anything.

i'm glad he finally has the courage to be honest to himself and everyone else by the end of the story - that last line was simply beautiful!

Thank you so much! I'm honestly not a huge cross-gen person myself, but I just love the whole idea of Teddy-as-orphan being left with Harry-as-guardian, and Harry trying to shy away from the connection because he doesn't want to deal with his own issues. I love troubled!Harry, like, a lot. :D

oh, crossgen used to be a BIG no-no for me until i got lured in by the delicious wrongness of harry/scorpius and draco/al and all combinations of those 4 characters together :|

somehow harry/teddy just seems more..wrong compared to those pairings? haha i have no clue way - maybe my brain just finds any kind of potter-malfoy interaction to be acceptable :P

i sort of see teddy as harry's surrogate son which is probably another reason why i'm squicked by it. it's the same reason why i can't ever read sirius/harry. [but i can handle even incestuous fics with draco/scorp and harry/al these days wtf!!!]

Fabulous! Harry is so messed up with the constant wanking and the way he described Neville *cuddles neville close* and then Teddy and the sex with the invisibility cloak.
And when they finally get together, it's perfect. I love the morning breath!

Thank you! My Harry is always quite messed up lately, it seems. And I did feel bad for Neville, but I gave him a happy future to make up for it. :D

Harry is just so hurt and so disgruntled and I want to say confused and Teddy just knows what he likes and just wow. How fantastic to see how they overcome it in their own way to come together and find some kind of happiness.

yep that's what I have been reduced to.

I love the orphan theme of this and how Neviile and Harry and Teddy all just get each other because they have no folks. The sex was gorgeous even the scenes that exsisted only in Harry's mind. I am already in love with broken Harry but combined him with this Teddy and it makes me happy beond words.

I am rambling and I am so very sorry I cannot express my love for this story in a better way.

Thank you so much! I'm fascinated by the plight of the orphan myself, because those issues have got to be so internalized, until everything just bubbles over. I'm glad you liked the sex scenes that only existed in Harry's mind, because those were some of my faves to write. :D
